Q1. Where are you from?
Saskatoon, Canada
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I discovered copywriting back in 2020 while I was working in the construction industry. I was dealing with a back constant and nagging back injury and desperately wanted to leave the industry. I always came back to marketing. Copywriting was an easy way to enter the marketing world, and start my dreams of becoming self-employed, creating something better for my young family.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Emails, Sales Funnels, Social Media, YouTube Scripts.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Finance, Technology, Personal Development, and Health and Fitness
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Is to not take your work to seriously and to have fun with it.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
My favourite copywriter has to be Alex Cattoni. She is supportive, genuine, a Canadian, and creates an inclusive environment for anyone to learn in. It’s a top-tier vibe to learn from her.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
Recently started writing YouTube scripts with a client of mine in the Health and Nutrition space to grow his channel.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I am an analytical listener, meaning that I listen and research more than anything. And I believe that listening is the key component in business.
