Q1. Where are you from?
Mobile, Alabama
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I found copywriting while searching for a business that used my writing skills and my interest in psychology and economics. I mainly found videos about it through Youtube.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
I write email copy and ads.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
My favorite niches are tech companies, HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing companies, construction companies, and any luxury clothing or accessory brands.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
I’ve learned the importance of persistence and practice, because without putting in hard work, you cannot gain anything. I have learned the importance of practice because it helps immensely to generate quality copy for clients.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
I don’t know if he is the greatest copywriter ever, but I find Mason Doerr to be my personal favorite copywriter because he is the one who inspired me personally to become a copywriter. He showed me that I could use my writing skills to succeed without having to slug through college.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I am a beginner, but I have been writing practice copy for the previously listed types of companies for about a month now, and I am actively seeking clients.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I fully intend to always bring 100% of my skill to bear for companies, and it is my goal to help them to succeed more. I think my background as an Eagle Scout shows my strong work ethic, and I am eager to show the skills I have learned in my practice.
