Q1. Where are you from?
I’m from Madagascar
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
The first time I heard about copywriting was on Tik Tok. I thought it was something about law, data,…I didn’t understand it at all, so I just forgot about it because I thought it was not my area of expertize. But as I watched videos on youtube, I saw someone explain how accessible this skill is. “Everybody can be a copywriter”. So I decided to delve into it and reality hit me. “Not everybody can be a copywriter”. I don’t know, it’s a bitter-sweet paradox.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
I write emails. There’s just something unique with emails. Who would let someone go in their house if they’re not friends? I mean who would like to receive email if not from a friend?
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
I really like the fitness niche. Especially, track and field because it’s my favorite sport. I don’t even feel like working because when you’re doing something you’re passionate about (I only thought that track was just about running) time seems to stand still. Writing gives me as musch as emotion as on the track…Okey not really as much x)
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
In 2 words: PA-TIENCE. This is a life-lesson. Good things take time. And this is not the copywriter talking but the sprinter in me. For someone who lives life at full speed and puts it on a pedestal, we need to sloow doown and breathe…
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
My favorite copywriter is Tyson. He’s the one who really introduce me to copywriting (the youtube video*) and when you read his emails, you can really feel a genuine relation he wants to build with his community. Because this is what it’s all about. I suggest you to watch his videos if you’re a beginner and want to learn A LOT of things about it.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I’m still a beginner but my writing skills are getting better (if you want to see some samples, just ask me) and i think it’s a win. A WIN IS A WIN.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
If you want experience then you didn’t find the right guy. BUT if you want results, you BET I’m gonna throw myself into it with everything I’ve got
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
