Q1. Where are you from?
Singapore
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I first found out about it through a social media marketing mentor. I started my own agency, and I was struggling to deliver results — and then I found a guy who was ‘knee deep’ into copywriting, the whole Agora game, and long form sales letters
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
I write sales letters in the spirituality and health niche.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Spirituality. But basically, I just enjoy working with open minded, and pragmatic internet marketers who are comfortable pushing the limits and playing with new ideas.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
I’ve learned that if you analyse premises, understand how arguments are ‘built’- you’re able to find an endless source of inspiration and ways to build up your new ‘sales letter’ or marketing promotion.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
My favourite copywriter is Luke Mills, he showed me the way when it came to long-form copywriting, and made the biggest difference when it came to copywriting. Before speaking to him, my ideas were ‘all over’ the place, but after working with him, how a world-class argument was built and how it was put together — and how you can ‘condense’ all your research into a coherent narrative.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
Recently, I wrote a spirituality promo that did a 100k at launch.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
Let’s get to know each other on a personal level, and see if our working styles align. I enjoy having conversations with internet marketers, and publishers, because as much as I’d like to think that I can come up with the ‘best’ idea from the ground up… I feel that discourse, especially with people who know what they’re doing is the best way to find the ‘winning angle’ in a promotion.
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
